Don't despair! You've got options, and you've got time! Just don't waste it! YOU HAVE 20 DAYS TO RESPOND. The first thing you should do is contact us to download a form you can use to file with the court asking for a 45-day extension. THIS FORM IS AVAILABLE TO YOU FREE OF CHARGE! This extension buys you more time. Use this time wisely and get yourself an attorney who can help you find a suitable solution.

THE GOOD NEWS IS now you don't have to pay filing fees to countersue your lender. If it hadn't filed suit against you, then you would have had to pay the costs associated with filing a case against it.

What You Should Expect

When you call the Law Offices of Daryl L. Jones for the first time, one of our staff members will ask you several questions to get us ready for your initial CONSULTATION.

We will ask you some basic information about your home loan and your personal situation so that we can be well-prepared for our first meeting with you. For example, we will ask when you last re-financed, what your monthly payment is, the principal balance on your loan and so on. Your initial consultation can take place in our offices or over the telephone, whichever is more convenient for you. We'll then begin to help you establish your real estate goals and guide you to a solution that is comfortable and workable for you and your family.

This Means War

A document war, that is! When it comes to foreclosure, the side with the best documentation generally wins. So you need to understand that after you receive our initial list, we will request more updated documents from you until your case is settled. We'll need to provide your lender with financial information, pay stubs, bank statements, tax returns and more. The more completely you can provide us with the requested documents, the better off YOU are.

Can You Hear Me Now?

Suppose you don't mind taking those continual calls from your bank. We can supply you with a form that helps you document what the bank has to say. In this way, you are participating in helping us build a case against your bank. We create an affidavit from these documented phone calls and make sure that the bank is not doing anything that's against the law. We have been able to get concessions, lower monthly payments, even reductions in principal, based on the records of these phone calls.

We also want you to know how important it is that you return our phone calls as quickly as possible. Often, there may be an urgent issue associated with a judge, lender or its negotiator where we may have 24 to 48 hours to respond to them. So please note that prompt responses will enable us to vigorously and successfully defend you!
